It’s time for the ELITE EIGHT in the Denver Burger Bracket! The match-ups are getting tougher but we’re determined to find a winner! We choose the winners in the bracket and YOU vote for your favorite burger in our “People’s Choice” polls. Top vote getters will be in the final “People’s Choice” poll along with our final match-up. In the end we’ll crown Our Winner and a People’s Choice Winner!

(1) Park Burger vs. (2) City Grille

#1 vs. #2 in the Nuggets region of the Denver Burger Bracket. Just the way we drew it up, right? We’ll spare you the details of each burger, which you can read in their previous match-ups (Park Burger vs. Griff’s Hamburgers, Park Burger vs. Jack-n-Grill, City Grille vs. Smashburger, and City Grille vs. Hamburger Mary’s). At this point in the bracket, all of the burgers are great. So we can either go one of two ways: We could get super technical and break this match-up down like a heavyweight boxing fight, or we could go with our gut instinct. As you’re probably aware from our winning criteria information, this match-up is coming down to a visceral reaction more than anything else.

Both burgers are top quality in nearly every phase. The patties are good, the buns work well with their respective burger, and the toppings are fantastic. So who wins?

Our Winner

After some careful soul searching, one burger rose to the top of our collective consciousness. Because while the bun, buttery onions, and classic flavor that comes with a burger at City Grille are definitely high class, it’s the unique burger flavors at Park Burger that keep our stomachs wanting more. Park Burger is on to the FINAL FOUR.
